is a cell phone version of the mybackstamps.com site and is available
to Gold account holders only.
This site allows our clients to search for ceramic marks (backstamps)
while they are 'In the field' at auctions or generally when away
from a computer via a mobile (Cell) phone. These marks on the move
give you as a minimum a second opinion so that you may judge the
age of
a piece
and
therefore
with further knowledge determine a value.

This
login box is the first page you will see via your cell phone
and will fit the screen size of the model of phone you are
using. to log in press the 'Members
Login'.

and password that you use for mybackistamps.com
site. Complete the required fields then press
'Go'.

searches are split into 3 areas as above. Please
note that being too specific can yield less or
no results. As an example here we are going to
use the 'Makers Name' search and we are going to
look for Pilkingtons. We have selected the 'Makers
Name' search and then we press 'Go'.

We
are looking for Pilkingtons Tiles however I want
as many pertinent results as possible as perhaps
there may have been various arms to the Pilkington
empire. As you can see I have only added 'Pilk'
which will give me a better chance of good results.

are lucky that this search has provided me with
one accurate result however other searches may
provide a longer list. Choose the maker that best
fits your search by selecting the dot at the side
of the name then scroll down to the bottom and
press 'Go'.

will now be presented with all the marks used by
this manufacturer. This is represented in the form
of a numbered list of thumbnail pictures. At the
top of the screen you will see how many pictures
there are (as there may be a few pages), the maker
name, the country of origin of this particular
maker and the category type of material. You will
now scroll down and choose the mark I am looking
for unless there are multiple pages so you will
press the 'More' button to move to the next page.
